It’s a photo session specifically for the bride and groom. They are usually done shortly after or before the wedding in full wedding attire. The best thing about these shoots is they allow the couple and photographer to capture images without the time constraints of the wedding day. You also get to choose a time of day when lighting (the most crucial element in photography) is best. You then get to take as much time as you need to get a large variety of images. The other great thing about bridal shoots is they allow the couple to move from ceremony to reception quicker as less time is spent on post ceremony formals on the wedding day.
